Meet the Doctor Dr. Cheryl Ligon, DDS, MSDr. Cheryl Ligon, Dentist at Granite View Dental. Dr. Ligon was born and raised as a true corn-fed, Nebraska girl in Omaha, NE. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Creighton University, a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Iowa State University, and went on to get her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Ligon also has years of experience as a dental lab technician and realizes the importance of communicating her patient’s esthetic interests for the best possible treatment outcomes. Dentistry is far more than just a career to Dr. Cheryl Ligon. It is something that she is deeply passionate about because it allows her to positively impact the lives and overall health of those within her community and abroad, on a daily and direct basis. She enjoys volunteering to provide dental care within her community with Mission of Mercy, as well as abroad through dental service trips to Jamaica, Honduras, and Colombia.    Dr. Ligon is a proud paw-rent to an energetic Dalmatian. In her spare time you can find her adventuring with her pup, hiking, kayaking, and snowboarding.
